Imitates Real Bentgrass
Bentgrass is the gold standard for putting surfaces, but it doesn't survive Texas and Florida summers without extraordinary maintenance. Our putting turf replicates bentgrass characteristics: true ball roll, consistent speed from morning to afternoon and summer to winter, proper friction, and accurate color and texture. Practice translates directly to the course because the surface behaves like the real thing.

Yes. Our putting turf is made from the same non-toxic, lead-free, PFAS-free materials as our landscape and pet turf products. Kids can play on it, pets can walk across it, and both can use the space without safety concerns.
Many homeowners with families design putting greens that serve double duty: serious practice for the golfer, and a fun putting/mini-golf activity for kids. The turf surface is soft enough for barefoot play and durable enough to handle mixed use.

Heat: Putting turf doesn’t grow or change speed based on temperature the way natural grass does. The ball roll stays consistent whether it’s 60°F in December or 100°F in August.
Cold: Artificial putting turf doesn’t go dormant, turn brown, or become unplayable in winter. You practice year-round while natural grass greens are closed or in poor condition.
UV: All our putting turf is UV-stabilized to resist fading. The color stays true for years without the yellowing you see on cheap turf products.

Most residential backyard putting green installations take 3-5 days.
Day 1: Site preparation, excavation, and initial grading. We remove existing grass or landscaping and establish the rough grade for drainage.
Days 2-3: Base installation and compaction. We install crushed granite base material and compact it to create a stable foundation. Contours and breaks are built into the base at this stage.
Days 3-4: Turf installation, seaming, and securing. The putting turf is laid, cut to shape, seamed together, and secured around edges.
Day 4-5: Final infill application, brushing, and cleanup. We add silica sand infill, brush the fibers upright, and clean the site.
Larger greens (1,000+ square feet) or complex designs with significant elevation changes may take an additional day or two. We provide a specific timeline during your estimate based on your project scope.

Weekly (5 minutes):
