Turf Installation Process

Four Easy Steps

Step 1:
Pre-Install

Prep the area by removing existing materials including soil and weeds.

Be sure to cap sprinklers and uncover any electrical wiring, irrigation, and pipes.

Step 2:
Base Prep

The next step in artificial turf installation is to install the base material.

The base material should be installed 3 inches in depth. Be sure to properly level and compact the base.

Step 3:
Custom Fit & Secure Edges

Trim the turf to the area. Secure the turf by installing nails every 6 inches. Be sure not to drive the nails too deeply as this will cause the turf to be pulled down. Use U-nails to secure the seams.

Step 4:
Apply Infill

Use a power brush to prepare for the infill. Spread the granules evenly throughout.

Power brush once more to force the infill into the base.
