Artificial Turf Installation Process

Four Easy Steps

Step 1:
Pre-Install

Start by removing existing materials, including soil and weeds, to create a clean surface for your turf installation.

Next, ensure that all sprinklers are capped and carefully uncover any electrical wiring, irrigation systems, and pipes to avoid damage during installation.

Step 2:
Base Prep

The next step in artificial turf installation is to install the base material. Ensure that the base material is installed at a depth of 3 inches.

For best results, make sure to properly level and compact the base to create a solid, even foundation for your turf.

Step 3:
Custom Fit & Secure Edges

Once the artificial turf is laid out, trim it to fit the area precisely. Secure the turf by installing nails every 6 inches along the edges.

Be careful not to drive the nails too deeply, as this could cause the turf to pull down and create uneven areas. To secure the seams, use U-nails, ensuring a tight and seamless finish.

Step 4:
Apply Infill

Use a power brush to prepare the turf for the infill. Once ready, evenly spread the granules throughout the surface.

After spreading the infill, power brush the turf once more to ensure the granules are properly forced into the base, creating a stable and well-supported surface.
